WHY IT MATTERS
Web application development services built for real users
A web app has to handle real users, real data and growth you cannot predict yet. As a web application development company, we design the architecture for the load you expect next year and ship the version you need now.
CAPABILITIES
What we build on the web
SaaS products
Multi-tenant SaaS platforms with subscriptions, role-based access, usage tracking and admin consoles, structured so you can add features without rewrites.
Customer and partner portals
Secure portals where customers, dealers or clients log in to view records, upload documents, raise requests and pay invoices.
Internal dashboards and tools
Operations dashboards and admin tools that pull data from your existing systems and give teams one place to act on it.
Progressive web apps
Progressive web app development for installable, offline-capable apps that work on any device without separate app store releases.
Enterprise web platforms
Enterprise web application development with single sign-on, audit logs, granular permissions and the load testing larger organisations expect.
APIs and integrations
REST and GraphQL APIs that connect your web app to payments, CRM, ERP and AI services, documented for your own team.
USE CASES
Web applications we are asked to build
B2B SaaS launch
A startup turns a validated idea into a subscription SaaS product with billing, onboarding and an admin console for its first customers.
Audit firm client portal
An audit practice gives clients one portal to share trial balances, answer queries and track fieldwork, replacing long email threads.
B2B ordering storefront
When a distributor needs an ecommerce development company for B2B ordering, we build a storefront with customer-specific pricing, approvals and live ERP stock.
Internal ops console
An IT company replaces a pile of admin scripts with one web console for provisioning, billing adjustments and customer support lookups.

WHY SMARTX
Why SmartX for Web Application Development
Architecture you can grow
We choose the stack and data model for your next two years of growth, documented in decision records that you keep.
Design and build together
Designers and engineers work in one team, so the screens you approve in Figma are the screens that ship to production.
Tested before you see it
Automated tests run on every change, so fortnightly reviews show software that works on real data instead of fragile demos.
Yours to take over
Code, infrastructure scripts and documentation are yours, so an in-house team can take the app forward whenever you are ready.
TOOLS WE USE
The stack, chosen per problem
ENGAGEMENT MODELS
Choose how we work together
Every model keeps the same signed gates, fixed milestones and full code ownership.
Gated delivery pod
A senior pod owns the outcome from Problem Brief to production, priced per gate so you can stop at any signature.
Dedicated engineers
Engineers who join your team and sprints, with PRISM briefs and evidence reviews added on top of your process.
PRISM OPS retainer
Hosting, security and a monthly improvement budget, run by the same engineers who built the system.
SELECTED WORK
Evidence, not promises.
From idea to post-PMF growth for an EdTech startup
WeXL went through the Startup Factory stages, from idea validation and MVP to product-market fit and go-to-market.
An EdTech company, now in its post-PMF growth phase.

FAQ
Questions before you book
Not covered here? Ask on the call.
What is the difference between a website and a web application?
A website mainly presents information. A web application lets users do things: log in, enter data, run workflows, pay or collaborate. It needs a database, business logic, access control and testing, so it is built and maintained like any other serious software product.
Which frameworks do you use?
Mostly React or Next.js on the front end, with Node.js or Python behind it and PostgreSQL for data. We pick based on your team, your hosting and what you need to integrate, and we record the reasons so a future team understands the choice.
Can you take over a web app another vendor started?
Yes. We begin with a code and architecture review during Research, then give you a written view of what to keep, fix or rebuild. If the codebase is sound, we carry on from it rather than starting again from scratch.
How do you handle security?
Security is part of the Stabilise gate. We review authentication, permissions and data handling, run dependency and vulnerability scans, and fix findings before launch. After launch, PRISM OPS adds 24/7 monitoring, and Shield keeps patches and access reviews current.
How long does an MVP take?
Our MVP Build runs 4 to 6 weeks once scope is frozen. You get a production-ready release covering your core user journeys, automated tests and a deployment pipeline. Larger platforms move into Build and launch, which runs 4 to 12 weeks depending on scope.
