MOBILE APP DEVELOPMENT
Mobile app development services for iOS and Android
Our mobile app development services cover design, build, store launch and support for iOS and Android. One team takes your app from prototype to production, and you sign off every stage before the next one starts.
MVP Build
- Working app on TestFlight and Google Play testing tracks
- Backend, analytics and crash reporting in place
- Store listings and a release plan
WHY IT MATTERS
How our mobile app development services work
We start with the people who will use your app and the jobs they need done, often in the field and offline. Then we choose native or cross-platform app development based on your users, budget and roadmap, and explain the trade-off in writing.
CAPABILITIES
Mobile capabilities
Native iOS apps
iOS app development in Swift that follows Apple guidelines, uses device features like camera and biometrics, and passes App Store review.
Native Android apps
Android app development in Kotlin, tuned for the wide range of devices your customers and field teams actually carry every day.
Cross-platform apps
Flutter and React Native apps that share one codebase across iOS and Android, cutting build and maintenance effort for most business apps.
Offline and field apps
Apps that capture data, photos and signatures without signal, then sync safely and resolve conflicts when the device reconnects.
App backends and APIs
Secure APIs, authentication, push notifications and admin panels that power your app and connect it to the systems you already run.
Store launch and updates
We handle store listings, review submissions, crash monitoring and release cycles, so updates reach your users without surprises.
USE CASES
Apps we build
Field service app
A manufacturer's service engineers log visits, scan parts and capture customer signatures offline, with reports synced to the ERP later.
Law firm client app
A law firm gives clients an app to follow matter updates, share documents securely and message their lawyer without long email chains.
Consumer startup MVP
A startup launches a consumer app on both stores in one release cycle to test demand before raising its next round.
Employee companion app
An IT company gives staff one app for leave, expenses, approvals and announcements, connected to its HR and finance systems.
HOW WE DELIVER
Five gates. You sign each one.
Every Mobile App Development engagement runs on PRISM OS. Nothing moves to the next phase until you approve the evidence.

WHY SMARTX
Why SmartX for Mobile App Development
Platform choice, explained
We recommend native or cross-platform based on your users and roadmap, and write down the trade-off so you can revisit it later.
Designed with real users
Clickable prototypes are tested with the people who will use the app before any production code is written.
Proven with startups
Startup Factory companies include Spoors, a field management SaaS growing through product evolution, and WeXL, an EdTech company now in post-PMF growth.
Store launch handled
Listings, review guidelines and release tracks are part of the work, so launch day does not stall at app store review.
TOOLS WE USE
The stack, chosen per problem
ENGAGEMENT MODELS
Choose how we work together
Every model keeps the same signed gates, fixed milestones and full code ownership.
Gated delivery pod
A senior pod owns the outcome from Problem Brief to production, priced per gate so you can stop at any signature.
Dedicated engineers
Engineers who join your team and sprints, with PRISM briefs and evidence reviews added on top of your process.
PRISM OPS retainer
Hosting, security and a monthly improvement budget, run by the same engineers who built the system.
SELECTED WORK
Evidence, not promises.
From idea to post-PMF growth for an EdTech startup
WeXL went through the Startup Factory stages, from idea validation and MVP to product-market fit and go-to-market.
An EdTech company, now in its post-PMF growth phase.

FAQ
Questions before you book
Not covered here? Ask on the call.
Should we build native or cross-platform?
Cross-platform with Flutter or React Native suits most business apps and keeps one codebase. Native Swift and Kotlin suit apps that lean heavily on device hardware, complex animation or platform-specific features. We recommend one during planning and explain why in writing.
Do you publish the app to the stores?
Yes. We prepare store listings, privacy declarations and screenshots, submit to the App Store and Google Play, and respond to review feedback. Developer accounts are registered in your name, so the app and its listing always belong to you.
Can the app work offline?
Yes, when your users need it. We design local storage and sync rules so field staff can capture data, photos and signatures without signal. Conflicts follow rules you approve, and everything syncs once the device reconnects.
Who maintains the app after launch?
PRISM OPS covers it. Host and Shield keep the backend running and patched, and Evolve ships new features and operating system updates. Apple and Google change their requirements every year, so ongoing maintenance protects your listing and your users.
