In the client's own words belowThe client
WeXL is an EdTech company. Its team came to us with product ideas and a lean way of working, and worked with us through our six-stage programme for founders.
The challenge
Early-stage teams have more ideas than time or money. WeXL needed to get its ideas to market quickly, learn from real users and keep the product on track as it found its fit.
What we did
Our programme has six stages. WeXL moved through them with our team, and we adjusted the process to suit its business.
Validation of the idea
Testing the core idea with the people it is meant for before committing serious time and money to building it.
Project selection and planning
Choosing which ideas to build first and planning the work so each step has a clear purpose and owner.
Minimum viable product
Building the first working version, focused on what early users need to get real value from the product.
Product-market fit
Learning from real usage and adjusting the product until it clearly meets a need in its market.
Go-to-market and acceleration
Launching and supporting early growth so a product that has found its fit can reach many more users.
Enterprise-grade product evolution
Strengthening architecture, security and reliability so a proven product can keep growing without breaking under load.
How we worked
We adapted to WeXL. As a lean startup, it needed short cycles and quick decisions, so we tweaked our process to suit its business and stayed focused on product delivery.

FAQ
Questions before you book
Not covered here? Ask on the call.
What is Startup Factory?
It is our six-stage path for founders: validation of the idea, project selection and planning, minimum viable product, product-market fit, go-to-market and acceleration, and enterprise-grade product evolution. WeXL, Atha, DealCircle, UBC Impex, CloudFuze and Spoors have all worked with us through it.
Can we join at a later stage?
Yes. Some founders arrive with a validated idea, others with a live product that needs refactoring or scaling. We assess where you are in a Discovery Sprint and start at the stage that fits, with each step signed through PRISM gates.
Do you work with other education teams?
Yes. We build learning platforms, assessment tools and student data integrations for colleges and education companies. Our sister business AptPath also works with engineering colleges, which gives us a practical view of how students and faculty use software.
Who owns the product we build?
You do. All code, decision records and datasets belong to you, and handover is part of the final PRISM gate. After go-live you get a 60-day written bug-fix warranty, and PRISM OPS is available for 24/7 monitoring and ongoing improvements.
